To comply with DUTY of CARE legislation you
must:
Publish a
comprehensive road safety policy that is supported throughout your
management team - we will help you tailor a
policy to your business
Ensure
that road risks managements procedures are in place, including risk
assessments - we recommend risk assessing
individual drivers (partly to determine if driving training is actually
required)
Implement
safe working practices that either minimise or eradicate identified risks

Ensure
staff are given relevant information, training and supervision to be safe
on the roads - our training is needs-led, and
proven
Regularly
audit the safety of journeys and amend policies and procedures accordingly

Ensure all
employees driving on company business fully comply with the requirements
laid down by the law with regard to driving licences and insurance -
in conducting individual driver risk assessments,
